DIGIWAXX MEDIA RETURNS TO THE ANNUAL SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST FESTIVAL WITH "THE BLAST LIVE" FEATURING WYCLEF JEAN AND TALIB KWELI
The popular The Blast Live music extravaganza returns to SXSW with over 20 music artists performing over the course of two jam packed days
March 9, 2018 (New York, NY) – Digiwaxx Media brings their ubiquitous Blast Live music series back to Austin, Texas for the fourth year during the annual South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival as an official SXSW event. This year’s concert will be amplified by a full two-day activation beginning on Thursday, March 15th and ending on Friday, March 16th and will feature Wyclef Jean and Talib Kweli alongside DJ Ryan Wolf, The Chopstars and a host of influential music artists that are making noise on the hip-hop, rap and alternative music scene. The popular annual event will take place at the Highland Lounge (404 Colorado Street, Austin TX) with doors opening at 7:00 PM and the much anticipated shows beginning at 7:45 PM each day. With past Blast Live participants who include, Morgan Heritage, Ace Hood, Gyptian, Tish Hyman, Trevor Jackson, Ro James, Young Paris, PNB Rock, and Audio Push, this year’s festivities continue the guaranteed palpable energy established in years prior.
SXSW has positioned itself as the apex of today’s hottest music from both established and new artists alike. In addition to Wyclef Jean and Talib Kweli, this year’s roster includes notable international acts such as AKA, Seyi Shay, Adekunle Gold, and Kwesta, who was a crowd favorite last year. Other featured artists include R&B singers Porcelan, and ImSoMaleek, rock-soul band Quantum Split, and Vina Love - a talented upcoming artist, daughter of legendary DJ and rapper Kid Capri, who has been making a name for herself throughout the cut throat music industry. Each artist will grace the stage in front of an eager and excited crowd and will show the world their talents, front and center on the main stage.

Tickets will also be available for purchase on the day of the shows for $12 (cash only) on a first come first served basis at the door.
